Chalean Extreme/TurboFire Hybrid-Day 29 PUSH Circuit #1 (First Time)

So here we are! We have made it to Phase 2 of the Chalean Extreme/TurboFire Hybrid. We have reached Day 29 and we start this month off with 2 new and exciting changes. #1 we have new Strength Training Routines referred to as PUSH Circuits (vs. the Burn Circuits from last month) and #2 our Cardio workouts will be TurboFire based workouts (vs the Chalean Extreme Cardio from month one). I am really excited to move into this next phase but sad the Burn Month is over as I had really grown to enjoy those strength routines. Yesterday was the last day of Month 1 so we did Stretch 40, took 30 day photos, and measurements. At this point the biggest difference I have noticed in my body is my legs have lost some fat and are starting to look lean. I am gaining better overall strength and my confidence is vastly improving as well so I am excited to continue our journey through this Hybrid.

Today’s workout was PUSH Circuit #1 and as this was the first time we were attempting it we previewed what it would be like so we could better estimate what weights we needed for each exercise. I was a little hesitant going in never having lifted heavy weights before so I was modest in my estimates on what I could handle. I think over time as I gain confidence and strength I will up these weights considerably. I was able to get 8 reps on all the exercises at the weight I choose, except V Press Biceps and Hammer Biceps, in which I only made it to 6 reps. John was also able to get 8 reps in on all his exercises except the first standard Bicep Curl.
