Chalean Extreme/TurboFire Hybrid-Day 40 Fire 30 + Extreme Abs

So today is Day 40 of our TurboFire/Chalean Extreme Hybrid and I get to share another one of my favorite TurboFire workouts with you: Fire 30 Class. I know it’s a shorter workout so you may be skeptical but even coach John admits he gets his sweat on in this workout and it’s so much fun. In fact this is my go to workout when I know I have limited time to get my workout in for the day. I just throw on Fire 30, because I know it’s a good mix of the choreography and has 2 firedrills so I’m still doing the high intensity intervals. If you watch the video you’ll see what it’s all about and if you listen at the end John gives you a breakdown and explains even though you may have trouble picking up the TurboFire choreography at first if you stick with it for a couple weeks you’ll have it down. And in this workout in particular the choreography is pretty easy to follow.

Today we also had Extreme Abs. We are still trying to figure out the best workout days to add on our ab routines, because with TurboFire it feels like you are working your abs constantly and it makes it really hard to get through the added abdominal workout. We have tried it at varying times and we might try it at the end of a lifting day next time to see if that helps us not feel like we are killing our abs.
