Les Mills Pump Hybrid: Pump Challenge Day 10

Les Mills Pump Hybrid: Pump Challenge Day 10

Sep 4, 2012

Alright so we are back at it for Day 10 of my Les Mills Pump Hybrid and today I had the PUMP Challenge and HardCore Abs. It was kind of fun to go back and do the PUMP Challenge after having done Pump & Burn. Pump & Burn is only 10mins longer but it’s condensed, so you are only doing 4 different exercise tracks (squats, chest, legs & Back, and Abs) vs the Pump Challenge you do 5 tracks (squats, chest, lunges, legs & Back, and Shoulders) which means that in Pump & Burn the entire routine is longer as well as each individual track is longer. So you definitely are “IN” the moves longer and feel that rep effect.

I really enjoyed today’s Pump Challenge it felt much easier this time around after doing Pump & Burn and having a nice Off Day yesterday. I still have a nagging pinching in my arm while holding the bar on my shoulders to do all the lower body work. I had to set the bar down not because I was fatigued doing squats, but because I had a painful pinching in my arm. So I am trying different grips on the bar and angles to try and ease this. I also did my workout today Barefoot. Usually not recommended for strength training for safety reasons but I love working out barefoot so I gave it a try. It actually makes the work harder, I struggled with the lunges as it seemed tougher on my arches without shoes on.  Other than that great workout, followed by the intense HardCore Ab Routine. I didn’t record it because it was my husband’s turn to workout and we share our camera for recording. So check out the video for a look at the Pump Challenge and email me at info@gf2revolution.com with questions or to get started with any of our challenge groups.
