TurboFire Day 70: Fire 30 + Stretch 10

Welcome to Day 70 of TurboFire! I can’t believe I only have 2 weeks left it seems like time has flown by. I know I’ve had days where I was excited about working out but overall I have really loved this program and looked forward to my workouts along the way. 90 day programs are challenging for me because that is a long commitment with little to no room for life to get in the way. Insanity was 60 days and that was a challenge, Asylum was only 30 Days and I flew through that, but here we are on day 70 of TurboFire a program I am doing all by myself, no workout buddy, and I’m still going strong. I’d definitely say TurboFire is my soul mate workout. Next week is my last real week and then the following week is a Recovery Week. So today’s workout is Fire 30 + Stretch 10 a short and sweet workout, which is good because I am still sore for P90X2 PAP UPPER. Seriously really sore in my back and shoulders as well as my abs, but I am powering through and getting it done today!

Today’s Fire 30 workout was great, it was so much fun and a great way to keep bringing it intense, but for  a shorter period of time. You start with the normal warm up and then move into the meat of the workout as they say. I love how fun and evenly spaced this workout is from start to finish. It mixes great music and dance sequences, has 2 Firedrills that are not back to back but strategically placed within the workout, a great finale with tons of hip shaking action as well as jumps, kicks and punches. I think if I really look back over all the routine it’s my favorite finale. It’s not too long or drawn out and it has a good mix of moves. You finish with the cooldown which gets extended into Stretch 10 for the good total body stretch that keeps me able to stay injury free throughout the program. That is my true advice, don’t skip the stretch, you will regret it if you do and will be invincible If you don’t!

So that was that, a great workout, on a wonderful Sunday Afternoon. My energy today was about an 8, I have drank 6 glasses of water so far so I know I’ll hit my 8 for the day, I plan to eat within my calorie range with a Starbucks coffee thrown in as a treat, and of course to follow my workout a wonderful Tropical Shakeology. Not sure what today’s recipe will be but I know it’ll taste delicious. I seriously look forward to it every day.
